EDITING PRICES:
First Pass:
$.12 per word: Developmental edit
$.10 per word: Line edit
Additional Passes:
$25.00 per page: Copyediting/proofreading
$30.00 per page: Developmental editing
Line Editing: For sentence structure and use of language
Developmental Edit: For content inclusion, flow, style, and readability
Copyediting: For accuracy of grammar and adherence to a style guide
Initial phone consultations and any interviews needed are $35.00 for 30 minutes, and $65.00 per hour.
Any research or reading including emails, documents, etc., to complete a written piece is $.05 per word.
Any projects that are over five pages will be charged at $25.00 per page for line editing/copy editing, and $30.00 per page for developmental editing.
Any copywriting projects from the outlining stage that are five pages or more will be charged at $40.00 per page. This includes all editing as well.
My price for writing smaller pieces from scratch is $.12 per word, for outlining and drafting.
