Gregory was great to work with! He is exceptionally sensitive and skilled at dealing with folks who are downsizing and trying to dispose of perhaps once cherished possessions. He is also very organized and has a good sense of humor. He kept us to a schedule and we got a great deal done. We would recommend him to anyone needing the services he offers

Gregory helped me in the final stages of editing a chapter in my PhD dissertation. He had a very quick turnaround on the work and was considerate of my deadline. He gave his time and energy to consider how to make my academic writing the best it could be in the copyediting process with suggestions on grammar, word choice, and clarity of thought. His suggestions were extremely helpful and complemented the work I had already done thus far to help me submit a piece of writing that I felt proud of. He is a delight to work with and I look forward to collaborating again in the future.

When a friend said that she knew a wonderful organizer, I immediately booked with him. Gregory Montagnino is in fact a superb organizer. We began with clearing out a room that had become a storage area for my son’s and my own belongings. To aid in that project, we also cleared out my entire garage and parts of the basement. After all that, we cleared and reorganized my bedroom closets. We worked together to sort, pack, stash, move or dispose of clothing, books, CDs, papers, photos, collectable items, all sorts of electronic equipment, etc. Gregory clearly enjoys what he does and has a lovely manner–he is non-judgmental, calm, understanding, patient, and lots of fun to work with. I am thrilled to have so much more and much better organized space, incredibly grateful to Gregory for accomplishing this with me, and looking forward to the next time he can come to tackle other projects. I give him my highest recommendation.

From a thank you note:

If it’s the thought that counts, please accept these suitcases of large bills as expression of my gratitude for your extraordinary work on the Malden house and on the Cambridge Terrace apartment. I am in awe. Beyond your work ethic, I am also very grateful for the positive energy, and yes, the effervescence you brought to the whole shebang. You managed to make it fun! You possess magical abilities. And for being you...well I am inspired. So it’s simple, you’re the best!...

I found Gregory after I had moved trucks of belongings from three states to my new apartment in Philadelphia. I was entirely overwhelmed and figured I would just leave my life in boxes and order take out every day.

Then the male Mary Poppins showed up at my door and now I have storage bins and organization in a way that I wasn’t capable of remotely achieving on my own. But Gregory was able to accomplish on his own. I’m astounded by his gift to take my chaos and make it profoundly manageable.

When I move next I’m just going to have him prep and box it all for me!

For years, my second bedroom was a receptacle for everything I didn’t need: old tax returns, shopping bags, scraps of paper with illegible notes to myself, etc. The room was a symbol of my own disorganization and I felt guilty every time I entered it. And then came Gregory! In a matter of hours, he transformed a disheveled space into a sea of tranquillity. I’m not afraid of it any more.

Skilled, sensitive, funny and warm, Gregory performs miracles. I loved working with him and can’t wait for him to return to transform the rest of my condo.

It was such a pleasure working with Gregory on organizing my basement storage unit. I had no idea what was behind the initial wall of things that threatened to fall apart every time I opened the door. I was buying items that I knew were there somewhere but couldn’t get to them because of the clutter. Now I can walk through the unit, with organized shelves on each side, I know where everything is, there is room to move things around and all the boxes are labeled! All that happened in a matter of hours with little effort on my part!

Gregory was very respectful and thoughtful as he was welcomed in my home. He’s quite gentle, sweet, smiles a lot, and listens well. He empathizes with emotional attachments to things, but also asks revealing questions that help one think about certain objects’ place in one’s life. He’s keen on identifying the utility of objects and gave me good advice on what to keep and why. He has good spatial intelligence, imagination, and experience in recognizing patterns and guessing how things should be organized. I really just came in and out a few times to answer a few questions while he ran the process pretty much independently, making it so easy for me. I really liked the system he created for me. He’s also quite affordable and keen on completing the task in the time agreed upon.

So I highly recommend that you go through that exercise of shedding what you don’t need, organizing what you keep and hiring Gregory to help you through the process. Could I have done it on my own? Maybe yes, but I have been saying I will do this for literally the past 10 years... I was dreading it for so long. With Gregory, I managed to check off this task with a good day’s work (Gregory’s mostly)! I definitely wouldn’t have done better organizing my own stuff in such a short period of time.
Done! Thank you Gregory!!!

Surface serenity is what you do when you expect company and tidy up. I’m good at that, but it’s the invisible spaces—piles of paper, drawers, cabinets, under-the-bed, closet stashes—that no one sees that grow in the dark like the shadow of my unconscious. They fester and weigh heavily on the psyche, especially when you can’t find things. Enter Gregory. Gregory arrived in my 390-square-foot Boston apartment on Wednesday and brought light to all the dark and secret places. At the end of an eight-hour day of working with him to make order out of that long-hidden chaos, we took out four large bags of recyclable trash and four large boxes of items for donation. Gregory has a talent for making order and does it with enthusiasm, caring, and cheerful energy he sustains all day. I hope to hire him again the next time he comes to Boston to help me organize and itemize a lifetime of journals and manuscripts, generations of photos, and my bursting library. Now I feel a sense of order when I open the closet doors and cabinet drawers. I no longer see misplaced items crowding the top of my refrigerator, blocking access to its cabinet. Now I can finally open the doors and make the most of the space it offers.

I started working with Gregory 6 months ago, and it’s been a pleasure. Gregory has worked on various projects around my house, mostly independently, and kept me informed via photos and messages. He is great with communication and is very thorough and thoughtful. He organized my basement and condensed items and made it easier for me to find things. He packed away holiday decorations to take up less space. He also gave some closets and my laundry room a makeover. Gregory watches out for my home when my family isn’t there. I’ve enjoyed working with him along the way.

If you are looking for an organizational wizard with a creative flare, look no further than Gregory.
I have worked with Gregory on several projects now and he is meticulous with packing,
respectful of property when organizing, and creative and practical when staging a home.
He is also mindful of the concept of “reduce, reuse, and recycle.” An essential quality for today’s
world.
I am already looking forward to another collaboration.

I can only think it was kismet that brought me and Gregory together. Here I was, a retired single woman moving for the umpteenth time and now doing it alone. I’d used packing and organizing help at various times in the past but mostly I was used to doing all the heaving lifting, including thinking and project managing, alone.

I was about to post a message on the NextDoor site, looking for that temporary service from someone local as I prepared to put my Philly house on the market and move back to the Boston area. Though I thought it was a long shot, I decided to first look under Services Offered to see if anyone might be out there looking for this kind of work. Lo and behold, there was the friendly, intelligent face of Gregory in his profile picture, listing the many things he could do to help, including downsizing, decluttering, packing, organizing sidewalk sales, posting things to sell online, staging for real estate purposes, and then doing it all in reverse at the other end. In addition to that, he’s a marvelous professional writer, so he can also create a eulogy or wedding speech, should you need that as well!

I was compelled to message him immediately and we arranged to meet. What a joy he is! I felt immediately reassured when he described his process and I could see how flexible and yet highly organized he is. There was none of the “take it or leave it – this is how I do it” attitude that you get with some folks. Gregory is a sensitive, artistic and yet strong, individual with a contagious sense of humor, which he brings to all his tasks. He takes the work seriously but not himself… so refreshing! Of course he has his own ideas but he’s really great at sensing or drawing out what you need and how he can best support you. And he can do it all!

We spent an entire month getting my house ready to put on the market and staged – transformed! it looked so great I had a moment’s pause… maybe I was crazy to move now?

The house sold in two days. That’s how good the staging was. And it cost hardly anything. I didn’t need to buy a thing as he has such a good eye for using what’s there and creating space around it for the eye to appreciate the view. The only cost was paying Gregory for his time and talent, and his fees are much more reasonable than someone that good might be.

Once the house sale was agreed, we spent the next month packing, selling, donating, or disposing of every item in my house. I am very acquisitive, so there was a lot to get through. Gregory handled it all with effortless grace and good humor. We laughed as we taped, lifted, marked, and priced. His insights into all of this and recommendations are invaluable. He never promises more than he can deliver. It’s just that he can deliver better than anyone I know.

When I left the house for the last time and headed north, I had definite withdrawal anxiety. By now Gregory had become more than a paid helper; he’d become a friend.

I got to Massachusetts and set about finding a new home to purchase. I have done it a lot in my long life, so I really know how to focus and use my energy to find what would work best for me within my budget. Once I bought a large condo in a historic neighborhood, I sent Gregory a ticket to come up and we then spent nearly a week unpacking and organizing together, to create a welcoming, easy to manage lovely new home for me. In the middle of a heat wave, Gregory was undaunted, focused on the tasks at hand, and never a word of complaint or diminishment of effort. He’s an extraordinarily kind soul and smart as a whip.

It’s such an intimate process, doing both ends of a move like this. So many tangible memories being handled, so much that has to be accomplished, and it’s all personal. I have a lot of wonderful friends, so I’m very aware of my good fortune, and I’ve had lots of offer to help. I can’t imagine doing something like this without a Gregory, however. And when I say “a Gregory” I have no doubt that there is only one. I feel so very lucky to have found him, and I can’t recommend him highly enough to anyone else. But only nice, thoughtful people, please!

I was incredibly impressed working with Gregory on my publication. He worked efficiently, had complete command of the editing process, and his attention to detail was second to none. He proved that he could shine on a project with challenging deadlines, and I look forward to working with him again soon.

So if you’re like me, the idea of giving a speech sends shivers down your spine. There are so many variables to be anxious about as a Maid of Honor, but giving my speech was not one of them. Luckily for me I found Gregory. His speech writing process helped me learn something new about my brother-in-law, and I got to connect with my sister on a whole new level. I was able to speak on our most precious moments while highlighting the best of theirs in a way that truly resonated with the audience. My speech sparked a few tears, it had a sprinkle of joy, a dash of heart, with a side of razzle dazzle.

Some moments only come around once, Gregory helped me get it right. I highly recommend.

Gregory is absolutely awesome! After many years of not being in the job market, and not having to do a resume, he took my best qualities, traits, achievements, and documented them in to possible the best resume I have ever seen. His writing style and composition of the resume allowed me to become employed with an excellent organization in my desired pay range!
— Daryl Lewis

I’ve been a colleague of Gregory’s for several years and he does amazing work! He has helped me edit my bachelor’s level research papers as well as my master’s thesis, which was a huge project. Gregory always maintains professionalism, is a skilled verbal and written communicator, and was always timely with deadlines. Gregory is also friendly, talented, funny, hardworking, and made what would have been a stressful project flow with ease. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in need of his services!

Gregory was an absolute delight to work with. I hired him to assist with a press release for a client’s trademark announcement. This was a monumental achievement for Alice that had been two years in the making. Acting as a liaison between my client and me, Gregory was able to capture her excitement and voice to breathe life into the release. An absolute godsend with appropriate punctuation was sent and delivered. Everyone needs a double-triple-quad set of eyes, and I would definitely recommend Gregory as that set of eyes.

Immediately upon viewing the samples on his website, I had no concerns about Gregory’s chops as a writer. His ability to confidently work across genres with a marvelously tailored voice and a keen critical eye speak for themselves. The care Gregory puts into his writing and the thoughtfulness Gregory exhibits in his communications with customers is one in the same. He always makes sure that our visions for our projects are in line, and has returned every assignment I’ve given him back early. The more I work with Gregory, the more impressed I am with his adaptability, timeliness, and cordiality.

Recently a colleague of mine was going through some difficulty when her car and personal belongings were stolen. She had a Go Fund Me Page to help her get back on her feet. It was terribly written and had few responses. I sought out Gregory’s expert advice and had the page rewritten, and she gained almost $5000 - far exceeding her goal. This is a testament not only to Gregory’s talent as a writer, but also his compassion for writing an article that touched so many to take action. I highly recommend Gregory’s services to anyone.

Greg is such a pleasure to work with and an extremely talented writer. He helped my husband and I with our wedding vows. During the writing process, he really took our visions and brought them to life in a very sweet, loving, funny speech to each other. I highly recommend working with Greg for any of your writing needs or projects!

Greg is extremely talented with words. He provided very helpful editing and description for the properties I was listing. If you are looking for a small paragraph, a story or struggling with your presentation, or need an obituary GLMontag is the place! Highly recommended!
